MANGLAR — Spanish. "A mangrove."
Manglar — Spanish for a mangrove — is a bronze form caught mid-turn, its body drawn into a deep S that lifts clear of the drum it rises from. The surface is left matt and softly modelled, with the patina darkening into the hollows. Cast in bronze on an integral bronze drum. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
