Spanish. "Stony ground."
Pedregal — Spanish for stony ground — is a pair of bronze figures modelled as one mass, one arched over the other with the two bodies meeting along a single continuous line. The forms are simplified almost to silhouette and finished in a near-black patina that keeps the join ambiguous. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
