One Hand, Start to Handover
Most of our water features arrive into someone else’s pool. This one is different: the client asked for the entire system — the carved fountain, the surrounding pool, the waterproofing, the hydraulics, the lighting and the controls — designed, engineered, built and handed over working, by one team.
The form is a quatrefoil: a four-lobed classical geometry drawn to sit inside the courtyard’s circular paving band, so the plan reads as a rosette from the upper floors. The centrepiece is a single-tier composition — a turned upper bowl carried on four carved scroll corbels — cut in Bianco Carrara, whose soft grey veining ties the piece to the villa’s stone facades.
Everything mechanical is buried. The pump room sits underground fifteen metres away; in the courtyard there is only stone, water and light.
