Intreccio
Italian. "Interlace."
Intreccio — Italian for interlace — is a seated figure built from short bronze struts, hands brought together at the chest and the legs folded into a low triangle. The struts alternate blackened and gilt; the head is a single polished ovoid. Shown on a quilted travertine block. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
