Amazonian flooded forest.
Igapo — the Amazonian flooded forest — is a lion's head whose mane is built from full spheres, stacked around the face like a bank of cloud. The face itself is smoothed almost flat, giving the piece its stillness. It stands on a travertine block. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
