Marine-grade 316 as standard. It resists salt air, pool chemistry and Gulf heat far better than ordinary 304 — which is why it is the metal we put nearest the water.

Questions We Get Asked
Does stainless steel rust?+
Marine-grade 316 is highly corrosion-resistant, which is why we use it as standard — it is well suited to coastal and poolside settings. Ordinary 304 can tea-stain near the sea; we do not use it outdoors.
Mirror or brushed — which should I choose?+
Mirror reflects sky, water and landscape and changes through the day; it needs something to reflect. Brushed softens that into a quiet matte, hides fingerprints, and suits pieces that are touched or seen close up.
Can stainless steel be coloured?+
Yes. Coatings and coloured wire give thousands of tones — gold, bronze, graphite, coral, cobalt — sampled against your reference before production.
How big can a steel piece be?+
Large. Fabricated hollow, a piece over a metre stays liftable by two people; larger works are made in sections and seam-finished on site.
Can steel and bronze be combined?+
Yes. Reflective steel against warm bronze is a deliberate, striking contrast we use often.
Why is steel faster than bronze?+
Nothing waits on a mould. From an approved 3D model, cutting, forming, welding and finishing run in sequence — six to eight weeks is typical.
