Shams — Arabic for sun — is a large circular wall work built from hundreds of fine radial rods, finished in a warm mid-brown. The rods sweep from the rim into a lens-shaped void at one side, so the disc reads as a sun caught mid-eclipse. Made for spa lounges, entrance halls and quiet seating areas. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
