About this piece

Hilal

Arabic. Crescent.

Hilal — Arabic for crescent — is a composition of three overlapping spun discs in graphite, warm bronze and copper, with a polished gold bowl nested at the centre. Each disc carries a different finish, so the work shifts from matte to mirror as you cross the room. Suited to studies, dining rooms and hotel lounges. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
