Rigel
Arabic-named star, "the foot."
Rigel — an Arabic-named star meaning "the foot." — is a sphere fountain in stone, dimpled all over in shallow rounded hollows. Water rises at the crown and runs the full curve of the stone into the basin below, so the surface is read through moving water. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
