Coined, from requies — repose.
Requia — Coined, from requies — repose — is a white stone seat cut into a ribbed wave that rises and falls along its length. The stone is worked to a honed finish and the seat is cut from a single block, so it reads as sculpture first and seating second. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
