About this piece

Canaveral

Spanish. "A reed bed."

Canaveral — Spanish for a reed bed — is a sheaf of long brass rods laid lengthwise and bound at the centre, tapering to points at both ends. Laid horizontally it stretches rather than rises, reading as a drawn line across the wall. Made for banquette walls, corridors and reception rooms. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
