Kochab
An Arabic-named star in the Little Bear.
Kochab — an Arabic-named star in the Little Bear — is an hourglass built entirely from drawn bronze wire and suspended inside a wire case of the same gauge. Both chambers are packed with loose wire, so the form reads as dense at the ends and almost absent at the waist. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
