Jamra
Arabic. "An ember."
Jamra is a bench in two materials: a block of black lava rock left with its blistered volcanic face intact, hollowed along the top and fitted with a mirror-polished stainless steel seat. The steel throws light back out of the dark stone. Made for hotel lobbies, entrance halls and gallery interiors. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
