Arabic-named star, "the girdle."
Izar — an Arabic-named star meaning the girdle — turns a bronze ribbon through a single crossing to make a standing figure of eight. One flank is combed in fine strokes and the other left smooth, and the inner curve is polished bright against the darker outside. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
