An Arabic-named star in Corvus.
Gienah — an Arabic-named star in Corvus — is a cluster of furled forms woven from fine bronze wire, each opening from a common gathered base. The mesh is doubled at the folds and single at the edges, so the piece reads dark at the core and almost transparent at the rim. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
