About this piece
Calvara
Coined, from calvus — bare, smooth.
Calvara — coined from the Latin for smooth and bare — is a cream marble egg crossed by two carved blades that overlap at the waist. The cuts are shallow and the surface between them is left uninterrupted, so the veining runs unbroken around the form. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
6–8 weeks from approval · Delivery, installation and lifting quoted separately.
