About this piece
Bayda 120
Arabic. "An egg."
Bayda — Arabic for an egg — is a deep ovate shell drawn open at its centre, the inner face gilded so light gathers in the hollow while the outer shell stays dark. The form projects well clear of the wall and holds its own shadow. Made for reception walls, corridors and double-height halls. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
6–8 weeks from approval · Delivery, installation and lifting quoted separately.
