Spanish. "Cork-oak wood."
Alcornal — Spanish for a cork-oak wood — is a rising form in white marble, one face drawn out into a fine combed grain while the other is left smooth to show the veining. The two curves cross without meeting, holding an open space between them. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
