At 1-OPH every artwork is handled as a collectible object, not a commodity. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are prepared, packaged, shipped, delivered, and—where applicable—installed.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Shipping Origin
All artworks are shipped from the United Arab Emirates unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
2. Order Processing & Production Time
- Ready / Retail artworks: Processed within 3–7 business days after payment confirmation.
- Custom-made or commissioned artworks: Production timelines vary based on design, material, scale, and finish. Estimated timelines are shared prior to or immediately after order confirmation.
- Orders are not processed or dispatched on UAE public holidays.
Production timelines are estimates and may evolve due to material availability, approvals, or quality-control requirements.
3. Shipping Destinations
We ship worldwide.
If your destination is not available at checkout, please contact us before placing your order.
4. Shipping Methods & Logistics Partners
We work exclusively with trusted international and fine-art logistics providers, selected based on the artwork’s size, value, and destination:
- DHL
- FedEx
- Crown Logistics
- Bovis Fine Art Handlers

Carrier selection is determined by us to ensure maximum safety, compliance, and handling quality. Tracking details are shared once the shipment is dispatched, where applicable.
5. Packaging Standards (Artwork-Specific)
All artworks are packaged using export-grade, artwork-appropriate methods, which may include:
- Multi-layer protective wrapping (foam, felt, shock-absorbent materials)
- Moisture and humidity barriers (critical for marble, bronze, and mixed materials)
- Custom-built wooden crates engineered to artwork dimensions
- Internal bracing, vibration control, and orientation markings
- ISPM-15 compliant crates for international exports
Packaging is designed to protect the artwork during long-distance transit and multiple handling points.
6. Estimated Delivery Timelines (Indicative)
Delivery timelines vary based on destination, carrier, and customs clearance:
- UAE: 2–5 business days
- Middle East: 5–10 business days
- Europe & North America: 7–15 business days
- Other International Destinations: 10–20 business days
These are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates.
7. Shipping Costs
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout or quoted separately for large, custom, or installation-based projects.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of verified error on our part.
8. Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Regulations
For international orders:
- Import duties, customs charges, VAT, and local taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
- These charges are not included in product or shipping prices unless explicitly stated in writing.
- We are not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or additional fees imposed by authorities.
9. Delivery Conditions & Site Readiness
- Customers must ensure the delivery location is accessible and ready to receive the artwork.
- Any delays, re-delivery, storage, crane access, or special handling caused by site constraints may incur additional charges.
- Building permissions, access approvals, and timing coordination remain the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
10. Installation Services (Optional)
Where agreed in advance, professional installation services may be provided, including:
- Artwork positioning and alignment
- Anchoring or fixing systems
- Fountain or water-feature integration
- Final inspection and handover
Installation is quoted separately and subject to site conditions, scope, and location.
11. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your artwork arrives damaged or is lost in transit:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date)
- Provide clear photos of the packaging, crate, and artwork
- Do not discard packaging until advised
We will coordinate with the logistics partner to assess the situation and determine the appropriate resolution.
12. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details.
- We are not liable for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
- Failed delivery attempts or returned shipments may require additional shipping or handling fees.
13. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, customs delays, strikes, transportation disruptions, or government restrictions.
