Alpina — of the high mountains — is a swan in black marble with the neck raised in a full curve and the head turned down. The wing feathers are carved as overlapping scales while the breast is left smooth, and the stone's white veining crosses both. Made to order in the 1-OPH atelier, six to eight weeks.
