AXIS / VOID I is a study of containment and contrast—where permanence meets precision. A monolithic marble ring encases a stainless steel core, framing absence while reinforcing structure.

The marble exterior carries weight, gravity, and geological history, while the stainless steel inner ring introduces restraint, clarity, and industrial discipline. Light behaves differently across the two materials: absorbed and reflected by stone, softly diffused by metal.

The circular void becomes an optical axis—inviting passage, framing space, and drawing the viewer inward. The sculpture reads simultaneously as object and aperture, mass and interval.

Designed for contemporary galleries, architectural lobbies, private collections, and design-forward commercial spaces, AXIS / VOID I functions as a silent spatial anchor.
